Training & Development:
Our policy is to actively promote training and development of all our employees, regardless of their role or position within the business.
Appraisals and skills matricies are used to assess levels of competence and training requirements for the individual and the business need.
Multi skilling is used for production employees and has three main benefits:
- The business can move the skills as required
- The individual gains extra skills and knowledge
- The individuals pay grade will increase when they pass the assessment
Academic training is sponsored with financial payment for the course and a potential increase in salary once the course has been completed business benefits are apparent.
Time off for course attendance, study and exams is also paid.
With a multi cultural workforce we work closely with local colleges to raise the essential skill levels for those employees, whose English is not their first language. This has proven beneficial to all concerned with a number of individuals carrying on their studies at night classes.
