Red Mill and Patak's Support Born Free Foundation Ball

Guests at the recent Born Free Foundation bi-annual ball were treated to free snack goody bags courtesy of Patak’s authentic Indian Snacks.

The Born Free Foundation is an international wildlife charity set up by Virginia McKenna and Bill Travers; stars of the original Born Free film which was based on the life of conservationists Joy and George Adamson.

The charity contacted Red Mill Snack Foods, manufacturers of the Patak’s authentic Indian Snacks range, to seek its support for this year’s ball which was themed ‘Eastern Promise’.

“We were delighted to be able to help and provide snacks for the guests at this very worthwhile event,” says Red Mill Snacks Foods, managing director Garry Nield. “Our Kasoori Bites and Bombay Bites fitted in well with the theme of the evening.”

The ball, which was attended by a number of celebrities including Amanda Holden, Martin Clunes, Bryan Adams and Rachel Hunter, raised over £70,000 which will go towards the care of tigers in India and orphaned baby elephants in Sri Lanka.
