August Launch For Carded Patak's Luxury Bombay Mix

Red Mill Snack Foods is launching a new carded 35gm version of its Patak’s Luxury Bombay Mix, especially for the licensed trade.

A delicious blend of Indian spiced noodles, pineapple, papaya and nuts, Patak’s Bombay Mix has become a popular snack throughout the UK, and is now being targeted at wine bars, pubs, hotel bars and off licenses in this new small pack format.

The wall mountable cards feature eye-catching imagery from Patak’s national TV advertising campaign. Each card contains 20 x 35gm packs, with a RRP of 40p.

“Bombay Mix is one of the nation’s favorite snacks and we expect it to be extremely popular across the licensed sector, where savoury style snacks are growing in popularity,” says Red Mill Snack Foods’ managing director, Garry Nield.

“Cards are a great way of reaching the consumer and have been successfully used for many years to merchandise nuts and other savory snacks in this sector. They offer an ideal format to present the Bombay Mix and encourage impulse purchase.”

He added: “Red Mill already has a strong presence in this market through its top selling Mr Porky range of pork scratchings and pork crackles, and we are sure carded Bombay Mix will follow suit in terms of popularity.”

Bombay Mix is one of a range of snacks produced by Red Mill Snack Foods in conjunction with leading Indian food manufacturer Patak’s.
