Leigh Scoops Red Mill Competition Prize

Total service station manager Leigh Barker came away with more than just an insight into the UK's best value snacks range when he visited Red Mill Snack Foods' stand at the recent Pro Retail exhibition.

For Leigh's entry into Red Mill's 'Whose Been Telling Porkies?' on-stand competition, earned him £250 worth of Marks & Spencer vouchers!

Show visitors were presented with ten statements related to Red Mill's popular Mr Porky range of pork products, of which only five were true. Leigh correctly sorted the 'pork facts' from the 'pork fiction' to scoop the top prize.

Red Mill Snack Food's forecourt sales manager Chris Compton visited Leigh at the Total service station in Worcester Road, Stourport-on-Seven, to present him with his prize.

A delighted Leigh remarked: “I was visiting the Telford show to find out about the latest products and developments in the retail industry and went onto the Red Mill stand as we stock a number of their products including Mr Porky pork scratchings, Onion Rings, Savoury Sticks and Cheese Curls.”

He added: “I hadn’t given any further thought to my competition entry until Chris phoned me with the good news – I'm planning to treat my children with my prize.”
