| October 2005 The Magnificent Seven Aid Red Mill Expansion Wednesbury-based snack manufacturer Red Mill Snack Foods Ltd has stepped up its expansion plans with the creation of seven new employment roles. The company, whose most popular brands include Mr Porky, kids 10p Fun Snacks and Transform-A-Snack, has recruited across all areas of its Globe Street operation, to help strengthen its drive into new business sectors The firm's marketing and product development role has been split into two distinct positions, with Marketing Masters graduate and DTI 'Business Leader of Tomorrow' award winner Sarah Nunn taking up the position of Marketing Manager and former Unilever employee Gayle Wheeler appointed as Development Manager. New roles have also been created in the company's Logistics and Supply Chain departments, with Customer Demand Planner, Prity Patel now responsible for forecasting and Supply Planner, Gareth Hutton providing an additional link in the process of ensuring Red Mill's diverse customer base receives product orders on time. In the factory, Kara Web takes up the new position of Unit C Production Supervisor, whilst Purchase Ledger Clerk, Tracy Lynch joins the company's accountancy team. The company's commitment to expanding its IT function is reflected in the appointment of System Support Operative, Ronnie Chan.
